The Craig Hospital PUSH Dinner has become one of the most prestigious annual events in Denver. We have now raised more than $5.5 million to fund critical research in the area of spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries and to provide support to the patients and families affected by these catastrophic injuries.
The 2010 PUSH Dinner will be held on March 4th at the Denver Marriott Tech Center Hotel. We are delighted to announce that Mr. Al Troppmann, President of PCL Construction Services, Inc. has accepted our invitation to chair the 2010 dinner and Mr. Pierre Lacroix has agreed to be our honorary chair. Kathy Walsh with CBS4 Denver will host the event. This year, we will present the Christopher and Dana Reeve Inspiration Award to Ms. Glenna Goodacre and her husband, C. L. “Mike” Schmidt. Glenna is a Craig graduate and a world renowned sculptor.
While we are most pleased with our patient services and outcomes, we remain committed to supporting research that may one day lead to breakthrough treatments that can greatly benefit those who suffer these catastrophic injuries. We are also committed to providing those affected by a spinal cord or traumatic brain injuries the financial support they need to complete their rehabilitation programs. We are dedicated to assuring each patient leave our hospital with the necessary equipment and tools needed to move forward in leading a more independent and productive life.
Your continued support is critical to our ability to maintain the Craig experience for those who will desperately need it in the future. We are focused on making the 2010 PUSH Dinner the best ever and to meet that goal, we ask for your continued support of this event.
We look forward to seeing you at the 2010 PUSH Dinner. Thank you for helping us PUSH for excellence in care and treatment for spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries.

Glenna Goodacre, Sculptor |
| |
About Glenna Goodacre:
"Glenna Goodacre has contributed more to the figurative sculpture landscape in America than any other artist, certainly more than any other woman in the arts. Her special style of expression, emotion, movement and design make her works the favorites of countless collectors in the U.S. and in many foreign countries. Her public sculptures are the pride of city and corporate collections in nearly all 50 states. She is the master of every scale, from the tiny bas-relief of Sacagawea on the U.S. dollar to the 40' long Irish Memorial in Philadelphia and the towering twice-life-size General Hap Arnold at the Air Force Academy, with every size work in-between from small head studies to complete figures…”
---Daniel Anthony, manager, Glenna Goodacre Ltd
Glenna has graciously donated “Ballerinas” for the live auction during the PUSH dinner.”
